Well well! You’re finally up and running?
It’s been a long time coming, and we’re proud to announce we’re open for online business! Please be patient as we work out any quirks over the next few months. As always, our biggest selection of goods will be at craft fairs around the area, so if you don't see what you're looking for online, stop by on a Saturday or Sunday (see our market locations on the Calendar tab above) for more goodness! We'll be adding more products to the website over the next few months.
What’s in the name already?
Penny and Paul are family names belonging to two true inspirations of the owner, Emily McCarthy, and her husband Conor.
Where can I see your products in person?
Check out the Calendar Page in the top menu for a list of different craft fairs and markets around the DC/Northern Virginia area. Please check back from time to time as we will be updating the schedule frequently. Throughout the year, we will be selling at fairs in Richmond, Baltimore, and perhaps YOUR WAY or anywhere else we darn feel like visiting!
Why is my hat a tiny bit different from the one in the picture?
Because it's made carefully by hand and not on an assembly line! Please be mindful that all hats will vary slightly from the photo on each order page due to the nature of handmade items and the inability to create exact replicas. Different sizing requests change the stitch count and look of each item as well…just adding to the individual charm and personality of each piece!
So where’s your studio?
All products on this site are made by the owner, Emily McCarthy, in her Capitol Hill home. Just so you know, it is a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
How can I pay for my order?
We accept payments from Visa, MasterCard, American Express or regular bank account payments - all through PayPal, a service you do not need to sign up for to use! We do not accept cash or check through the mail.
How long will my order take to arrive?
All orders will be shipped within 7-10 days of purchase unless noted otherwise. From Oct-Dec, it may take up to 2 weeks to ship. If your order has not arrived within 3 weeks, please contact [email protected]. Please see the Terms and Conditions page for more details on orders.
Can I return or exchange an item I have ordered?
Sure, but within reason. Please see the Terms and Conditions page for more details on returning items, and contact [email protected] with additional questions or concerns. Since head sizes vary from person to person, please be certain of the size you're ordering to avoid returns.
Do You offer wholesale prices?
Not at the moment. To keep costs down for the customer, since it’s just Emily and her speedy crochet hands making the products, we are currently unable to meet wholesale pricing.
